Clients giving vague briefs
Clients giving vague briefs
Absolutely this. Clients so often don’t appreciate the time it takes to cull photos and make adjustments to exposure, wb etc. That time adds up fast.
I’ve owned Canon, Nikon, Panasonic and Sony, and I have to agree, Nikons are designed with extreme passion and are a joy to work with. Every system has it’s pros and cons though of course.
My suggestion for getting some motivation and enjoyment back is to try to master a different style of photography, be it wildlife, macro, real estate or whatever.
I think you did a pretty good job but some of those shots were framed needlessly wide IMO. The tighter portraits have way more impact.
Regardless, they hired you based off seeing some of your previous work, I assume. Stand your ground IMO or perhaps come to some compromise, but don’t let them have those shots for free.
That is a fair point. Ideally, there’s good communication between client and photographer before a shoot or event, so that these things can be clarified early.
