minus-squareGlen_Myers@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoThis is what I tell people. I would take the reach of f4 over the speed of a 2.8 most of the time.
minus-squaregbrldz@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoIf you’re Canon, you’re gonna love the 24-105 2.8. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1793385-REG/canon_rf_24_105mm_f_2_8_l.html
minus-squareIllustrious-Cherry12@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoSo expensive. And so big. I’ll stick with the Canon EF 24-105II f4…
minus-squaremarkyymark13@alien.topcakeBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoThat thing is the size of 70-200
minus-squareSnorlax46@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoAnd triple the cost. I’d rather have 3 $1000 lenses but that is the best answer to the question I’ve seen.
minus-squareTestFlightBeta@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoWhen on earth did this come out?
minus-squareeroticfoxxxy@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoIt can do great portraits if you know how to stage people against backgrounds to force bokeh. It’ll never be as creamy, but honestly if you’re shooting portraits lower than 3.2 you can miss so many shots due to focus. If I had to choose ONE lens, this would be it.
minus-squarekermityfrog2@alien.topcakeBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI’ve been using the Tamron 28-200mm 2.8-5.6 and it’s a great all-rounder/vacation lens. This from also owning a 24-70 and 70-200 2.8 lenses.
minus-squareqtx@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI mean, Tamron has the 17-70mm APSC 2.8 which is 24-105 on FF.
minus-squareMuLLetDaDDie@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI just got the 90mm sp af f/2.8
