Not a lot of things disappoint me in life but this thing sure did. I showed her my portfolio, everything was great I agreed to do the wedding for 400$ and asked 150 as an advance to book me. Pre wedding is in one week , she ghosted me no response, called her she cut the call. Is it generally this tough getting clients
You got the deposit which is good.
Always insist on a deposit.
Sucks that you lost your first shoot, my brother did one for free before so that he could use it in his portfolio so people have got less for a first wedding!
He only asked for the deposit and got ghosted. He didn’t “get” the deposit. No way Indian clients gonna give a deposit and then ghost. If anything, they’ll send an updated and extensive list of demands to extract more.
Ah i thought that he meant he got the money as a deposit in which case its a win.
You never have a job until the deposit is paid thats how i look at it.
