Tomorrow, I am going to Hong Kong and plan to spend a lot of time taking pictures on the streets. For me it’s as big of an attraction as the tourist sites. I may shop for some vintage glass while I’m there as well.
I’ll bring a fujifilm X-S10 with a 16-80mm for most things, and a Helios 44-2 for fun.
I have been watching YouTube videos and noting locations, but I am wondering if any of you have some tips or locations that are magical.
Some suggestions:
- Sham Shui Po: Apliu street area and along Castle Peak road (night time better IMO)
- Mong kok: Mong Kok road bridge and streets below, or towards Jordan via Nathan road and smaller streets parallel to it including Temple street (night time better IMO)
- From Taikoo to Fortress Hill via Kings road
- Causeway bay crossing and streets around it
