I used to watch people like the Northrups, Thomas Weaton or Kai Wong, but it starts to be repetitive watching them all the time. Do you have any youtubers that are not cringe and add some value to this hobby?
My favorite is OpticalWander, binged watched his videos during lockdowns and got my own camera because of it.
Some others I watch:
Zenography, Simon Utak, James Popsys, Marco Aries and Snappiness
JARED POLIN FRO KNOWS FOTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DOT COM.
I scrolled for days but could not find this so I added one…+1
The one who should do a YouTube channel is the guy from The Digital Picture.
He’s a religious nut though? Back over a decade ago that was pretty much the only photo site i used to read.
Fototripper, Alyn Wallace, Nick Page, Thomas Heaton.
I’m a big fan of Willem Verbeeck. If you dig film photography, give him a look!
Bryan Birks is a solid dude
Peter McKinnon was great for me getting into photography, I prefer his older videos (~1-2 years ago) to the new stuff, now he feels a little cocky to me. But great for getting inspired and learning.
Paulie B… end thread.
Haven’t seen his name and I’m from the area so I gotta shout out my man Vuhlandes for repping Detroit and making great photos in your own neighborhood
The Art of Photography Grainydays Roman Fox Nick Carver
If you shoot Fujifilm, check out Pal2Tech. It’s not so much the gear reviews as the loads of info on how to set up and use your camera that are worthwhile. He does a really good job of getting into the guts of the menu options, various settings, and exactly what each feature does.
While he isn’t as “professional” as the people listed in order comments, I have always been a massive fan of North Borders.
Been watching him even before I got into photography and he always gets me motivated to go out and shoot until the anxiety hits and I decide to stay indoors.

Surprised I’ve only seen Adrian at aows mentioned once! He’s my number one for 100% photography with no gear GS. Sean Tucker would be second. I’d put James Popsys in 3rd. Honorable mention goes to Alan Schaller who I think is the most talented street photographer working these days.
