It really is hard to describe. I read a lot about it too but I really didn’t get it until I tried one of my mate’s x100f.
You have this big optic viewfinder but with a little flick of your index finger you can turn it into a full digital (through the lens) viewfinder or into a hybrid one. It just works so well. I use the hybrid one most of the times but sometimes it’s just nice to have an even more analog feeling and sometimes it’s helpful to have a full digital one.
Plus the viewfinder is a bit rangefinder style. You look through it with your right eye while your left eye is still able too see everything around you. So you usually have both eyes open.
Again it’s really hard to describe. If you ever get the chance to try one you should do it.
Auto white balance under artificial lights is often still hit and miss.
My old 6D would especially struggle with warm artificial light. Pictures usually came out super warm.
When I noticed after a couple of shots that the temperature looked odd I’d usually took out a white handkerchief and I’d hold tight in front of the lens while setting the wb manually. There are special wb cards you can buy but a hanky works too
