If you’re shooting in RAW it’ll do that, I’d try shooting in JPEG. Either that or convert the photo to a JPEG after you do whatever you want with them

When using a camera each photo you take becomes a file, .jpeg or .raw, you should be able to switch between these in your cameras settings. Think of it like this a RAW file is something you want to edit whereas a JPEG is the finished product. I don’t know the exact reason why but whenever I view a .raw file on my computer the image brightens. I’m not the best at explaining these things but if you want to pm I’ll be more than happy to explain in better detail
