It can happen. It helps if you are able to travel and see new places, or if you join a local photography club that sets challenges. Those are two ways I know of that get the creative spark going again.

I would recommend you go back to a Canon platform, you were happy with it and likely know it cold. I think the 90D is the successor to your 50D.

Sony’s cameras usually have menus systems that I find are difficult to use. I’ve shot with a few, didn’t like the feel of the cameras either (I have huge hands, my idea of the perfect camera is a Nikon D850 with a battery grip).
