There are!! You can get them on Etsy!
Honestly it might be easier to practice rather than read about practicing
You should absolutely charge for that. That would take me a few days to go through
I’m a family photographer and this is what I do:
I accept payments through my Pixieset site. Before that I just used Venmo or cash app.
I always always require deposit. They prevent cold feet. I charge 50%
I always get paid before the shoot. I do no take photos without payment in full. Yes editing is work too but, taking the photos is sorta the whole point.
I send my contract also through Pixieset. You could use another method but that’s what works for me.
If it’s a laptop- a MacBook is the way to go. Make sure there’s at least 16gb ram.
Your client hired you to make those choices.
I would have them physically separated, like a few feet and maybe they just make eachother laugh or enjoy each others company.
You could also do the moments leading up to touch, similarly to how the engagement is the time of anticipation for the wedding. Maybe they are approaching eachother in a book store or a coffee shop. Maybe you capture photos of each one looking at the other so you can show the excitement.
Turn on focus highlights or split prison or something
Personally I’d say it’s worth it because I feel like editing is half the process and so far LR/PS has been the only software that works for my own process and art making. There are other software option though that work great! I think in general, whatever editing software you vibe with is worth it
Honestly I think you should just use your whole name. You’re the artist, so use your name.
You could ask if they would do it for free but if that’s the only thing you do it’s fine
You can use light room classic on the iPad
Okay but as a graphic designer, that’s a different thing entirely. A family photo shoot doesn’t need raws
Honestly no one don’t find it reasonable. I personally never give out RAW files. Does the editing look like the rest of the photographers work? If so then it’s sorta on you for hiring someone with a style different than what you want.
Also truthfully even if the photographer didn’t find this ask to be an issue, there’s very little chance they still have the raws. I personally wouldn’t have kept family photo raws that long
Asp-c sensor camera with ibis could be great! I like fujifilm, they also have physical duals which might be easier for him to operate.
8 gb is not a whole lot of RAM. if you have any other software open that will slow it down. I have the same MacBook but 16gb ram and it works fine but I also have a desktop with 32gb and I can run Lightroom’s be photoshop and adobe illustrator all at once
Dog I take 100,000 photos a year. 10k is just scratching the surface. You have to keep practicing to get better. I take about 250 photos an hour to get 20-30 but a year ago I took about 1k-2k an hour to get 20-30 good shots. Just keep at it
Not a reading but Tatjana Hopper on YouTube does exactly what you’re asking
