Over the top and pretentious stories about an image. And the stupid sayings photographers use in business. “Preserving your memories”. “Capturing your moment in time”. It’s a fucking pictures. Get over it.

I hate the whole “game” phrasing unless it’s, you know, an actual game.
Been there. Part of the process of learning.

Depending on the sports. Most of the time I do use my pelican but if I have to cross lots of grass then one my backpack bags is the choice. I also change out my bag depending on the event and body/lens needs.
It amazes me that people will spend so much money on their gear and then buy the cheapest shit cards they can to save a buck or 2. They are always on sale and fairly cheap. I have several unopened packages of cards just in case this happens to any of the cards I have in use.

Bodies: Original Digital Rebel. 10D, 20D, T2i, 7D, Original M, 7D2, 1Dx, 5D4, 1Dx2, 1Dx3, R6 (1 for video, 1 for regular shooting), R3. Just added an R7 for surf school. Currently still have all my 1Dx version as well as my 7D2, and R bodies. Use all the R bodies nearly daily. Use the 1D models for remotes. The 7D2 I lend out to those wanting to learn, usually students.
In all of that I tried M43 in the Olympus OMD system but didnt stick with it. Had a Nikon or 2 in there as well. Also have a Fuji floating around.
Really depends on what sort of photography you are trying to get paid for.
Always send an invoice first.
You inform them of a change in rate. Do you have a contract? In my long term contracts I state that at every X amount of time a rate change may apply. Usually every 3-6 months. Each contract states the possible % increase min and max. A contract lawyer can help you with the proper wording and legalities for your state.
I dont like around the neck straps. Mostly my cameras go strapless unless I put it on a sling which is not very often.
There is absolutely too much gatekeeping in photography.
