Is there a way to get that bright, airy, natural sunlight look in a dark room that has windows but is surrounded by shade? I’ve tried with a speedlite and still lighting + reflective umbrellas and soft boxes but I just can’t seem to get it right.
- For real estate and interior design sample shots. Portraits are my shtick so I’m clueless when it comes to this.
Use gels to create color differential. Sunlight should be warm, shade should be cooler. Not much, just a little will make it feel natural.
Big defuse light sources, light from windows is very soft. Light through a cheap sheet or bounce off a big wall off frame.
