I just got a camera (canon 250d) and whenever I take the lense off the body I get all sweaty and afraid I’ll break it by using too much force. Im always careful with it and I noticed the small square on both the body and lense but I just want to know how sensitive it is. Can I scratch or damage anything if I place the lense wrong on the first try? I’m always thinking I’ll break it if I use too much pressure or twist too much, too little.
Watch sports photographers swap lenses in the middle of a game…they’re fast, because they’ve gotten used to knowing which way is up. Maybe practice swapping lenses at home until you recognize familiar click sounds of the lens hitting home
