I noticed Topaz AI software is running a Black Friday sale, so I was looking through the deals. One of the deals includes all five of their products (Video AI, Photo AI, Gigapixel, Denoise, and Sharpen).

This is confusing to me because I thought the Photo AI was a combination of the Gigapixel, Sharpen, and Denoise programs. Is there a point to having the three individual photo programs on top of the newer Photo AI? I feel like I read that the photo AI is the only one they plan to continue updating now, but I could be wrong.

Also, does anyone know if they run sales often for holidays? I was considering getting a bundle of some sort but maybe I’ll put the money towards a new lens or something for now and come back to Topaz later. Lightroom does have its own enhancing and denoising features anyway (though Topaz does seem to be more consistent).

Thanks for reading!

This reddit thread might help you. I have a detailed answer there breaking down my opinions on the various Topaz products.

To sum up, Photo AI has slightly worse capabilities compared to the dedicated programs. It seems that Photo AI is geared more towards consumers or more budget limited photographers, while the dedicated programs with better capabilities are geared more towards professionals.
