I got a printed picture from one of those photo booth machine and I don’t want my picture to fade over time. I have those self-adhesive laminating sheets that I want to use. Is it okay to laminate the picture without destroying the quality/color of it?

It’s unlikely that laminating will offer much protection from sunlight which is your greatest risk. If the photo is precious to you, get it copied (both digitally and physically) to improve your chances of preserving the image.
