I want to begin with photography. I will probably buy the Canon eos r10. But I am not sure with what lenses. There is a deal with the r10 and the 18-150 mm lens for 1.389. I can buy the r10 with the 18-45 mm lens for 1.189 euros. So I was thinking about the deal with the 18-45 mm lens with a different lens too. What do you recommend, or do you have a recommendation with different lens(es)? With photography I want to focus on all different things: travel, street, landscapes, animals and maybe even sport. Thanks for helping.

I would think that the 18-150 would give you a lot of versatility. Then you can figure out better what kind of lens you want in the future. I wouldn’t call it appropriate enough for wildlife and sports.

It’s all about aperture. You didn’t tell about those. For travel, street and landscapes you can use anything. For animals and sports you need 200mm f. 2.8 or 400mm f.5.6. That’s to separate the subject from the background - you can’t decide what there is on the back. To take photos of sports or animals with regular lens (50mm) or wide-angle you need to use remote controls and/or ir-traps -and- you will want to use off camera flash to separate the subject from the background.

I would go with the 18-45mm find out what focal lengths you want and then save money for a lens you need.

Animals and sports are not really going to be possible but then again 150mm is not really long enough for them either.

get the 18-150 lens and put it on the camera

dont take it off… u will just get dust on the sensor

invest in a good book or two: learn the basics of photography

    and a spare battery

if u can afford the R7 and 18-150, u probably won’t need a spare battery

I don’t know about this 18-150, but canon 18-135 was a great lens for its price. A lot better than the 18-55.
But those were the EF-S lenses, more than a decade ago.
The 18-150 will be more versatile for sure
