Hi reddit. I’m a senior at Rhode Island School of Design. I’m doing a photo project for my senior thesis and it involves suburban homes, exteriors and interiors. I tried finding homes on airbnb but everyone’s been saying no (understandable they’re there for money lol). I’ve always struggled with finding locations, pleeease bless me with whatever wisdom y’all have.

Edit: The photos aren’t retail related, it’s conceptual work. It involves people modeling in the interiors and out in front of the house. I’m trying to talk about the facade of a house and all that goes on in the inside that isn’t seen on the outside.

Try an app called ‘Peerspace’! I use it to find locations that I need. (in studio or specific locations) Think of it like AirB&B but for Photographers! You’re able to rent spaces/houses that people post up by the hour. If you have the financial means to do so, try it out!
