Hello,

Recently i’ve been really inspired and interested in magazines, and some of them really caught my attention, including this Gq Korea magazine from October 2022

Here’s the link of the photos: https://kpopping.com/kpics/NewJeans-for-GQ-Korea-October-Issue-2022

Does anyone knows how to achieve this style of photo or the type of effects used in this one ?

I know for a fact that there’s a type of blurry or hazy effect put in there and I did some research and the photograph used his own preset on Capture One but that’s all I could find.

I really want to achieve this kind of style (not in a point where my style of photography will be based on this but you know what I mean).

Any clues ?

First things that came to mind:

Lower saturation Decrease color temperature (make a bit warmer)

Pull back highlights Push midtones - I think this is the key to getting that paradoxical underexposed/high contrast look Increase shadows

    Add grain

The last three portraits were probably underexposed 2/3rds to a full stop maybe.
