Hey guys As the title says, I am thinking of getting a second body because I am afraid of my 5d classic failing after some time. Also I was thinking of keeping a 17-40 lens on one and on the other a 70-200 and never swapping lens. The 5d classic is not too expensive and I really love the images it produces. Is this a good idea? Also dont want things to be sitting gathering dust and I am not a pro.

    Have you ever used a 5D Mk II Mk III or Mk IV and if so were you dissatisfied with the images? (not saying you should buy one now, but would it be the end of the world if you had to go that route if your camera dies in a year?)

    Use contributes to a camera breaking but so does age. You could buy a 2nd one and have that one fail and then your original fail 6 months later.
