Hey folks! I was looking at some of the waffles I made under my microscope this morning. I really wanted to capture that image. I was Googling, “how to attach DSLR to microscope” and the rabbit hole of extra searches, but alas, I couldn’t find any profound sources or aid. I figured I’d turn to the people! So I do have many questions to start broadly, though; how do I photograph what my microscope shows? If you have any follow-up questions for me, please feel free to ask away! Thanks, friends!
What model microscope (or several photos from different angles) and what mount on the camera?
Some newer microscopes come already equipped with camera attachments, or installed cameras. Pretty common , they are expensive, but think I seen cheap alternatives on Amazon, hand held microscope with attached camera.
There’s literally a B&H Photo commercial about this situation, lol. Call them and see what they recommend at different price points.
Talk to the people at Martin Microscope, they will help you get kitted out.
