i dont know about anyone feeling this? Like Lightroom super solid for digital photos. But when you try to edit Lightroom for Film photos is never the outcome I desire. I really love Snapseed for Iphone. Haters might come at me saying “thats not a professional editing app” maybe its not. Dont matter if ur in the game for love the game. The way Snapseed can glow soften and create super authentic looking film borders. Does anybody know a Lightroom alt for Mac desktop that is similar to Snapseed?

The limitations in the subtle but tasteful editing elements used specifically in Snapseed like ( glow , film borders , and focused portrait blurring ) i enjoy adding to some of my photos. Lightroom has a selection of pretty good not great color presents and the glow effect with texture and clarity are always a photo ruiner for me. Wish there was a glow effect and border adding tools In Lightroom

Do you actually shoot film though, or are you trying to make digital photos look like film?

Both. Mainly film. But when I want to add border or add more softening elements like glow or add a border on film photos I love using Snapseed

Why not try to add the glow while shooting, eg with a pro mist filter?

I’m not going to hate on you for liking snapseed. But I will bully you for choosing to edit film on a phone screen…

Editing film photos feels weird and I don’t do it lol. IMO the imperfections give film it’s charm.

Totally agree, most of the time. But sometimes I can create some really interesting elements in post, especially with the glow feature in Snapseed

I process 95% of my photos in Snapseed. And I am absolutely not confused by what others think about this. The main thing is that the application performs its functions, and what it is and where it is installed does not matter in the slightest.
