Is anyone familiar with old Sigma Mini-Wide II (Version 2) lenses?

This one appears to have some kind of oil or residue between—from what I can tell—the two front glass elements. It’s difficult to show exactly, but I’ve attached photos looking through mount end.

I’ve been searching for ways to inspect or clean the lens by dismantling it, but only found a video for the old Mini-Wide (Version 1).

From what I can tell, the front element isn’t removable on this second generation, but I wanted to reach out to the community for any thoughts, suggestions, or referrals to other groups.

I will just tell you that one time I tried to teardown a lens myself and ended up destroying it, and I’m usually good at fixing things.

I was a zoom lens tho, maybe primes are simpler. Just sharing my experience.

Yeah, I imagine doing so would be much more trouble than it’s worth, but I figured I would ask and see what people had to say.

One one hand, I got the lens for free, so I won’t be too upset if it gets ruined. On the other, it’s still usable, but definitely has some undesirable artifacts.
