Is it true that storing your camera and lenses in a dehumidifier/ dry cabinet can damage the leather or beading of the lens and cameras?

Yes. You’re supposed to store them not at the driest place on earth, but rather at a specific rel.humidity (usually 45%).
Thanks, was really worried. Brought a new one have set it at 45% for now
