Hey all, I am a freelance photographer from South Australia who does small works here and there. I’ve been considering getting into real estate photography, could you guys give me an idea of how much they usually charge for per house for stills only? Also some tips on getting clients. Thankss

Ring a real estate agent and ask them?

One of my neighbours does it as his primary income source. Nice house nice area so it must pay ok. (NSW)

It’s VERY hard to get into. Most Real Eatate already have their own photographers or they do it themselves.

I did some back in 2016/2017 but it wasn’t full time in the slightest. Maybe 3 or 4 a month if I was lucky though I didn’t persue it as much as I should have. I went on realestate.com.au and looked in and around my area, no budget on filters, and looked at who had the worst photos then I’d contact them telling them I can take nice photos and I’ll sell, or rent, faster. Rental photos used to be absolutely trash back then, sometimes still are, so they would be the best bet

Hi, I’m a full time Architecture & interiors photog based in Sydney - I dont do as much real estate these days but it can be quite decent money if you get your foot in the door with some of the bigger agents. Happy to give you some pointers, shoot me a DM
